An accident or illness can cause that you as Pilot or Co-pilot are temporarily or permanent unable to work. An accordingly qualified medical practitioner has withdrawn your medical certificate. Loss of License Insurance supports with a lump sum or a temporarily limited period to cover extraordinary costs or a change of your professional activity.

Nobody is protected or safe not to be affected by an accident or illness. But for persons who need a medical certificate for work the effect of loss of the medical might be hard being unable to work – temporarily or permanently.

To provide an all-around service to the personnel in the aviation sector, we therefore offer appropriate insurance as a Loss of License coverage.

It is not open for pilots only but also for other professionals depending on their “medical”.

Loss of License provides coverage for Permanent Total Disablement (PTD) as well as for Temporary Total Disability (TTD) caused by bodily injury or sickness. Sickness following mental health diseases can be included within the coverage.

In the case of a claim, the agreed capital payment is made in the form of an annuity or a one-time payment.
